    Welcome to Voel Movers (“we,” “our,” “us”), operating under Voel Movers.
    By accessing our website, requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our moving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

  1. Services Provided
    Voel Movers provides moving-related services including, but not limited to:
    • Residential moving
    • Commercial and office moving
    • Long-distance moving
    • Packing and unpacking services
    • Furniture disassembly and assembly
    • Short-term storage solutions

All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and confirmation by VOEL Movers.

  1. Estimates and Pricing
    4.1 Quotes & Estimates
    • All quotes provided are estimates only, based on information supplied by the customer.
    • Final pricing may change if actual conditions differ from the information provided (e.g., additional items, stairs, long carries, heavy items, delays).

4.2 Hourly & Flat Rates
• Hourly rates begin when the moving crew arrives at the pickup location and end upon completion at the delivery location.
• Flat-rate pricing applies only to the services and conditions explicitly agreed upon in writing.

4.3 Additional Charges May Apply For:
• Additional or undisclosed items
• Stairs, elevators, or long carry distances
• Oversized, fragile, or specialty items
• Delays caused by customer, building management, weather, or access issues
• Last-minute schedule changes

  1. Booking & Payment Terms
    5.1 Booking Confirmation
    A booking is confirmed only after VOEL Movers acknowledges the request and agrees to the scheduled date and time.
    5.2 Payment Methods
    We accept:
    • Debit
    • Credit cards
    • E-transfer

5.3 Payment Due
• Full payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Voel Movers reserves the right to withhold delivery of items until payment is made in full.

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
    • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move.
    • Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
    • Same-day cancellations may be charged the full minimum service fee.
  1. Customer Responsibilities
    The customer agrees to:
    • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the move
    • Ensure safe and legal access to pickup and delivery locations
    • Secure parking permits, elevator bookings, and building approvals where required
    • Properly pack items unless packing services are purchased
    • Disconnect appliances (e.g., washers, dryers, refrigerators) prior to move day
    • Remove or secure valuables, cash, jewelry, and important documents.

Voel Movers is not responsible for items packed by the customer unless negligence is proven.

  1. Prohibited & Restricted Items
    VOEL Movers does not transport:
    • Cash, jewelry, securities, or important documents
    • Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
    • Firearms, ammunition, or illegal substances
    • Perishable food items
    • Live plants or animals

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring prohibited items are not included in the move.

  1. Liability & Damage Claims
    9.1 Standard Liability
    • VOEL Movers is fully insured and WSIB compliant.
    • Liability coverage is limited as permitted by applicable Ontario laws unless additional coverage is purchased.

9.2 Damage Reporting
• Any damage or loss must be reported on the day of delivery or within 24 hours of service completion.
• Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
9.3 Exclusions
Voel Movers is not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage
• Items packed by the customer
• Mechanical or electronic failure not caused by handling
• Delays caused by weather, traffic, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control

  1. Delays & Force Majeure
    Voel Movers shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
    • Severe weather
    • Road closures
    • Accidents
    • Government restrictions
    • Acts of God
  1. Storage Services
    If storage services are provided:
    • Items are stored at the customer’s risk, subject to applicable insurance coverage
    • Storage fees apply based on duration and volume
    • Access to stored items requires prior arrangement
  1. Website Use & Intellectual Property
    All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Voel Movers and may not be reproduced without written permission.
    Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages.
  1. Privacy & Data Protection
    Personal information collected through our website or booking forms is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws, including PIPEDA.
  1. Governing Law
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions
    VOEL Movers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
    Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
